It's been a while since the last time I wrote here in my wedding blog! So many things happened these pasts months and I'm a bit lazy to blog. I wrote all of my posts in my cozy room in Singapore and now I'm back in Manila! :)

Back to my wedding update, Right now, I'm happy that we almost booked all the MAJOR suppliers. I'm excited, happy, worried, anxious. Is it normal for a bride to be? haha! I'm having a mixed emotion while counting the days. 5 months to go! <3 :)

Here are the Wedding Checklist (Suppliers):

Lights and Sounds by RejectKrew

We booked our lights and sounds last December. Thanks to GT thread and some bloggers for recommending RejectKrew! Super in demand nila. Magaling at maganda ang setup ng RejectKrew, affordable with high quality gadgets based on the reviews and  photos that i saw online.  I really like his set up on mood lights, very creative! So I searched their contact information and email Mr.Elmer (owner of RejectKrew) to inquire for their rates and thank God it's under our budget range. You can contact Elmer via email too but please be patient  because it will take time for him to reply due to his hectic schedule. After weeks of communication, Finally we booked them and Elmer sent us the contract. Yey!

Food Tasting at Ma Del's Cuisine

Ma Del's is very popular in w@w and GT forums. According to the feed backs, Their styling and setup was beautiful and elegant and the food was great. Yes! We booked our caterer last year and met Ms. Anj last September 2013 for a meeting and on Dec 30, 2013, we had our first food tasting at their place in Pasig. I'm satisfied with their menus and will be having our next FT by July and final detailing of the ceremony and reception styling/setup.

For our first FT, These are the menu:  Fetuccini Italiana, Chicken Flambe, Korean Pork, Chopseuy,
Fish Fillet with Tartar Sauce(i love the sauce), Chopseuy with quail eggs, pumpkin soup, cream of asparagus, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, Chicken Empanaditas, Buko Pandal Jello

Verdict: Everything in the plate is good! I like their Fetuccini Italiana and Chicken Flambe more,  For the soup, I like the pumpkin and for the dessert, Buko Pandan Jello. So i put them on my draft menu list.

I'm looking forward for our next FT so we can finalize the menu.

Here are some of the photos, Sorry i forgot to take photo of buko pandan jello!

The Make-up Artist: Toni Aviles

Finding your right MUA (make up artist) on your wedding day is another big task. Bride's look on her very special day is important because the make up will stay like forever through photographs and videos. You don't want to look godzilla in front of your guests and on your wedding album and video right?

I booked Toni Aviles as my  fairygod mother on our big day! Haha! Why Toni? I like the make up style, very natural, I love the over all look of the brides as i browse her portfolio online. Toni can really turn her beautiful bride into more more more beautiful bride! (x10 hehe). Apart from her God-given talent, Toni  is very bubbly, approachable and funny. For sure you will feel comfortable and the make up session will never be boring :)

I already met Toni before. We had our "photoshoot" session with some of my friends (Myra, me, badjo). She did my make up then. We did also a shoot before, I am the hobbyist photographer and she's the MUA, with some of my photographer friends and met her also when I shoot at a wedding gig with my photographer friend (Myra Ho) and soon i will meet her again...my MUA! hehe :)

You may check Toni's FB page and website for portfolio and more details :)
